Daily Hiking Schedule Of Ali Bedni Bugyal trek

Natin Village serves as the idyllic starting point for embarking on the Dayara Bugyal trek, nestled approximately 38 km away from Uttarkashi. The journey to this quaint village is a scenic delight, with the Bhagirathi River accompanying you along the verdant route, offering a soothing backdrop of lush greenery. The path to Raithal winds its way amidst towering mountains, creating a picturesque pathway that leads you closer to the heart of the Himalayas. Passing through Uttarkashi, the largest town en route, and onward to Bhatwari, the anticipation builds as each bend in the road unveils increasingly magnificent vistas of the surrounding peaks.

Upon reaching the Moryana top, the first glimpse of the majestic Gangotri range and the towering Shrikanth peak awaits, inviting you to pause and capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the mountains. Drawing nearer to Natin, the grandeur of the mountain peaks becomes more pronounced, with Shrikanth peak standing out prominently against the skyline.

Despite the remote setting, mobile network connectivity is available here, ensuring a touch of connectivity amidst the wilderness. Uttarkashi boasts the last major market along the way, with a smaller market at Bhatwari, offering essentials for your journey ahead. As evening descends, settle into a cozy guest house or experience the warmth of a village homestay, immersing yourself in the local culture.

Gather around for an introductory session with your trek leaders and guides, where you’ll receive a detaileditinerary for the upcoming days of trekking, along with essential information to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure. Conclude the day with a hearty dinner and a restful night’s stay, preparing to embark on theunforgettable journey that lies ahead.

Wake up early in the morning feeling excited to start the trek. The path leads through a jungle filled with beautiful silver and gold oak trees. Don’t worry about getting lost; the way to the campsite at Gui is easy to follow and always visible. The trail gradually goes uphill, but it’s not too difficult. It takes about 4 to 5 hours to reach the next resting spot, so make sure to bring enough water—around 2 liters—as there are no places to refill along the way.

As you climb higher, you’ll notice the mountain views getting better and better. Most of the trek goes through dense forests, with lots of maple and oak trees. Sometimes, you’ll see bright rhododendron flowers adding color to the greenery. The campsite is surrounded by tall alpine trees, giving it a cozy feeling.

You’ll see some small village huts nearby, where local people keep their cattle during the summer. There’s also a unique igloo-shaped hut in the distance and a small lake called ‘Barnala Tal’ nearby. From Gui, you’ll get almost the same amazing views of the Gangotri range and Shrikanth peak as you do from Raithal. Take short walks around the campsite to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. At night, relax under the beautiful starry sky and recharge your energy for the next day.

We’ll wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and set out to explore a new destination. The summit day has arrived. Today, we’ll journey all the way to the Dayara top and then make our way back to the campsite. Trek route from Gui campsite to Dayara Bugyal and back to Gui is a picturesque journey offering stunning views and diverse landscapes. Starting from Gui, the trail winds through enchanting forests and gradual ascents, spanning approximately 6 to 7 kilometers one way. Along the way, trekkers will encounter lush meadows, vibrant rhododendron blooms, and panoramic vistas of the Gangotri range and Shrikanth peak as the altitude gradually increases to around 12,100 feet at Dayara Bugyal. The total trek distance, including the return journey to Gui, is approximately 12 to 14 kilometers. Highlights include the serene Barnala Tal lake, charming village huts, and the unique igloo–shaped forest hut. Take time to acclimatize and savor the beauty of the surroundings while trekking, ensuring a memorable and fulfilling adventure in the Himalayas. By evening, we’ll return to our campsite, have dinner, and unwind, reminiscing about the breathtaking views we enjoyed during our trek.

Begin the trek early in the morning from Gui campsite. Descend from Gui village towards Natin village, following the trail through the picturesque forest. Enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility of the surroundings as you make your way towards Natin village. Take short breaks along the trail to rest and admire the views.

Arrive at Natin village by late morning or early afternoon. Now Embrace the farewells with your fellow trekkers as you bid adieu to the enchanting landscapes of Dayara Bugyal. Capture the moment with a memorable group photograph before boarding the cab that will depart for Dehradun at around 10-11AM.

Embark on a scenic 7–hour journey, winding through the mountains, valleys, and alongside the Bhagirathi river, which served as your faithful companion throughout the trek.
